Using MoneyGates

MoneyGates is a tool to help you track personal or business finances and get coaching from Finley, our AI money coach. You may use it only if you can form a binding contract and are at least 18 years old.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account.
• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, do not:

• Break the law or use MoneyGates for fraud or money laundering.
• Try to access other users’ data or disrupt the service.
• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the app without our permission.

Subscriptions and payments

• MoneyGates is free to start. Finley offers paid plans, billed in CFA francs (XAF).
• New users may get a free trial. When the trial ends, continued access to Pro features requires a paid plan.
• Payments are processed by our payment providers (such as Fapshi) using card or mobile money. Your plan activates once payment is confirmed.
• Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable. You can stop using a paid plan at any time, and it will not renew.
• Prices and plan features may change. We will show current pricing in the app before you pay.

Finley is not professional advice

Finley provides general information and suggestions based on the data you enter. It is not a licensed financial, tax, legal, or investment advisor, and its responses may be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for your own financial decisions. For important decisions, consult a qualified professional.

Your data and content

You own the financial data and content you put into MoneyGates. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and process it so we can run the service for you, including sending the relevant context to our AI provider to generate Finley’s responses. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Our intellectual property

MoneyGates, the Finley coach, our logo, and the app’s design and code are owned by us. These terms do not give you any rights to our brand or software beyond using the app as intended.

Service availability

We work to keep MoneyGates available and reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee it will always be uninterrupted, error free, or that any result or advice will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, MoneyGates is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for any financial decision you make using the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using MoneyGates and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or use the service in a way that harms others or us.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app changes. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use MoneyGates means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon, without regard to conflict of law rules.
